My marketing and communications career began in the publishing world, then I transitioned into commercial real estate (CRE), when I accepted a position as a layout designer at Eastdil Secured. There I flexed my design capabilities and developed key leadership skills that led me to become head of the firm’s internal graphic design and production team. This work gave me a solid foundation in its mix of hands-on and managerial experience, which is what I desired; but I wanted to expand further by integrating my writing abilities through content creation and establishing myself as a creative strategist.
This led me to positions in other parts of CRE and Finance, more recently at Luther Burbank Savings, where I blended strategy and creative to produce successful product campaigns that increased bank deposits and brand campaigns that generated consistent business for the bank’s lending lines. While there, I also spearheaded two brand refreshes, broadening the bank’s appeal to a wider customer base.
I’ve recently worked with a variety of clients at Framekicker, a minority-owned creative agency based in Long Beach. I’ve enjoyed helping larger companies with PR and web content, as well as running the digital strategy and creating compelling content for a local business’ crowdfunding campaign.
I love what I do because it helps people get back to focusing on their priority – running their business. I want to continue helping others realize their business’ potential by reaching audiences with the right message, and by growing their brands organically and authentically.
